The Call: For our Artist-in-Residence 2025, we hope that our community of makers can help us articulate the grounding, prayerful routine of Ordinary Time, even in the midst of turbulent days we seem to be living through. Saint benedict’s table has long been a refuge for many, a place to return every week online or in the church building, to contemplate and to receive. How can you imagine the act of making as a call to the grounding routine of prayer and worship?
Keegan Braun
Keegan is a contemporary theologian who has often explored questions about the ordinary, along with ideas of play, faith and the embodiment of theology through his wonderings and his writings. For the 2025 AIR he gifted the community two creative essays exploring the themes of Ordinary Time through the multi-disciplinary lenses of theology, philosophy, social science, and more.
