Lent Series 2020 podcasts

Due to the March 16 suspension of all liturgies and public gatherings in our diocese, we were only able to meet together for the first two sessions of our Lent series on stories of vocation and calling. However we were able to record the other three sessions for release as podcasts, so here we are presenting all five sessions on this one page.

March 4 - Zoe Matties and Karen Cornelius - Zoe is the Manitoba program director for A Rocha Canada, an international Christian environmental group writing a new story of possibility and hope in the midst of the crisis of climate change and environmental degradation. Karen is a visual artist and printmaker, whose art practice is woven together with her passion for creation care.

March 11 - Sharon Cadigan - Sharon Cadigan is member of our community, an Equine Assisted Learning Master Facilitator, and a graduate of Inner Visions Institute for Spiritual Development. She is currently training in the field of clinical pastoral education and serving as a spiritual director.

March 18 - Vincent Solomon - Vincent is a member of Norway House Cree Nation, a priest of the Anglican Church of Canada, and the Urban Indigenous Ministry Developer for the Diocese of Rupert’s Land. In that role, he also is the priest and pastoral leader to Epiphany Indigenous Anglican Church in Winnipeg.

March 25 - Danielle Morton - Danielle is a member of saint benedict's table, one of our team leaders to our participation in the "Communities of Calling" initiative of the Collegeville Institute, and the Spiritual Life Facilitator & Coordinator of Commuter Programming at Canadian Mennonite University.

April 1 - Lynn Stevens and John Badertscher - Lynn and John are members of saint benedict’s table. John is a retired Professor of Religious Studies from the University of Winnipeg, and recently the author of Ten Steps on Freedom Road, and Lynn is a retired United Church of Canada minister. Their story together is one worth hearing!
